Western Shield Label Company, a converter in Rancho Dominguez, CA, USA, has acquired Self-Stik Labels, a printer based in Chatsworth, CA, with expertise in the health/beauty and cosmetic markets. With the addition of Self-Stik Label’s established customer base and assets, Western Shield increases its foothold in the Southern California market and now has opportunities to make further inroads in the HABA and cosmetic markets.

Manufacturing will be consolidated into Western Shield’s Rancho Dominguez plant, and both companies will do business under the Western Shield name.

Founded in 1970, Western Shield has been in an acquisition mode for the past decade. The addition of Self-Stick Labels represents the company’s fifth acquisition.
